Blackbutt Cladding

Blackbutt is becoming a very popular choice for external and internal cladding and lining. It is a high strength and durable timber. The heartwood ranges from pale yellow to pale brown and pink, and has a good balance of clear and gum vein featured boards.

It is generally even in texture and has a straight grain. Blackbutt cladding can be used in BAL 29 areas with no added fire retardant.
